Mystery teaching syllabus

Mystery teaching syllabus is one of ours school syllabus; the purpose is let children to descry about the mystery THING. More they are descry, more advantages for the kids. The brains can work more. I am purposely put “Thing” as a teaching material into yellow pail with top cover without any knowledge from teachers and children. Before I am carrying out this activity, I have been asking one of the teacher put hers hand into the pail, and feel about it bodily form. Either it skin is smooth or roughness. The first re action for my teacher I was scared to put in hers hand into the pail. These is the first reaction for timid people, for those are fearless people sure they are going to try it.

This morning, I bring out the pail with top cover and ask to all little angels what kind the THING I have been putting in? Of course only I and the previous experience teacher on know what it is. Others teacher and little angels are cozenage up by me. Firstly when I throw to them 5W1H questionnaire, asked them to guess what are the thing inside the pail? First answer there are given to me was don’t. And certain said KING CRAB, because previous I am brought big KING CRAB let them to guess. When I called who want to volunteer for this guess game? No one is voluntary! So, I need to call one of the teachers to become tester. When I ask for teachers to voluntary? No one is voluntary. So, I have to force myself to call teacher Munes out. When teacher Munes put hers hand into the pail with afraid. I think she might touch the round shape and smooth skin with a tail. I requested teacher Munes to descry what she touches just now? Teacher Munes descried “it is round shape, smooth skin and have a tail”. Children are starting to make noise and chat within their friends on this description and I am calling children to come out. One of the volunteer (5 years old child), before he put his hand in, he asked me whether IT can bite him or not? I told him no biting than he put his hand in. he said it is round and smooth. Than what is it? I asked, he said with louder, it is BALL. I asked for another voluntary, right now a few of children started to come out after the 5 years old child are tried just now. Everybody said it is a BALL.

Finally when I unclose the riddle, take out the cover and show to them, everyone is excited and laughing, shouted with malay word ‘Alamak’. The mystery teaching aid is a big WATERMELON. I am promised to them next week I would bring other material let them to guess again and they are excited on this mystery games.

Fire Drill Practice

We have infused all little angel regarding fire drill information since start from last week, of course we cannot assume all little angel are understand on this issue although teachers are keep on input the knowledge to them, especially for children who under age 3 and 4, but certain children they seem like understand but certain none. Some of the children are age 5 & 6, I am assume them have most capable readiness to understand while teacher make explanations on this activity.
Before the real practice start, at morning assembly teachers who on duty enounce and explain again on, while they are listening long whistle sound, there are fire occurring, what they should do. First they need to calm down, ignore everything include school bag, pencil, shoe and lines up quickly follow teacher go to outdoor area. They need to follow teacher instruction and find the right way out from building. Cannot fall out the group, after standby at outdoor, class teacher will start to mark the attendance check whether missing somebody. If teacher couldn’t find the victim from outdoor, that’s mean, the victim will become KFC or BBQ during fire. Teachers are make sure all little angels are aware on it and let them go in to class room.
Around 11.00am, long whistle sound blow by Bai Lao Shi and Teacher Loh, all children follow class teachers and quickly forward to outdoor compound. Only the 4 years old children come down from fire staircase at the back are (with teacher guidance). We can see some of the children starting to cry when they are come down from fire staircase shouted with “Hot, Hot, and Hot…. My leg is pain”. Ours’ teacher quickly goes to hug them down from staircase and certain children still keep on crying none stop. Several times later, they are stop to crying after teachers are comforted. And no one are become KFC or BBQ during this practices.
Bai Lao Shi called 4 years old children out to share with their experiences during these practices. Don’t we think our 4 years old child couldn’t know how to expose their felling? When Bai Lao Shi asked why they are crying when come down from staircase? “IS Hot you know Bai Lao Shi, my legs are pain because of hot because of temperature”. And Bai Lao Shi are explain to 5 & 6 years old children on fire can make some material temperature high like metal. Because staircases are make by metal. That’s why 4 years old children they are cry due to heat of the metal. Actually staircase temperature is cause of Sun irradiation. Certain 5 & 6 years old children fell funny and laughing to 4 years old child when they are sharing among theirs experience. And oldest children said they don’t feel anything when they come down from staircase (they followed indoor staircase way to out). So, in order to let them to experience on the hot temperatures, Bai Lao Shi asked teachers to guide them follow exactly 4 years old road way.
What happen when the oldest children follow the road way out (metal staircase)? Certain children starting to cry and shouted HOT HOT…PAIN PAIN…. Certain are jammed at the staircase, scare to move for next step. Of course teacher helps them to move down. Come back from outdoor compound and ask theirs feeling again, they just quiet and said “Is staircase temperature is Hot, teacher Peh”. Bai Lao Shi explain to them do not be mocked to others if you didn’t experience on it, we must sympathize to others.
The task is successfully done end of the day. The children learn not to panic during Fire occurs and must find way out to safety area.

对了，就是要这样教

我想大概大家还对这个小女孩还有点印象吧！在这年初六岁的她，因为对之前的学校产生了点小误会，篇了一大段的故事是为了逃避上学。当那用心良苦的妈妈，又抱有哄，带她来本园要求帮帮他的孩子。（她是经过其他家长介绍）我对她说，就主要是家长的那一关，那就是要从家里要把小瓜给带出来（当然需要用尽心思）和到校门口的那一霎那，只要家长们狠点心，让老师们把小瓜抱下来后就走人。当然，老师们会用我们的一套来和小瓜沟通，这样的情况短的话要延续两个星期，长的话需要用上一两个月都有，过后就没事了。我叫这位妈妈放心，我们的老师是不会打她的（在之前的学校，因为她的无理起闹-在地上打滚续张口咬老师而导致被老师处罚与打骂）。在这一两个星期真的是苦了那老妈子，满身咬痕，指甲痕（老师也领教了）。也篇了很多的籍口类似肚子痛，生病和包括老师和同学都不要跟他好和打她种种的理由。。。。。到了今天，多亏了妈妈和老师们的配合之下（还得感谢其他的小天使的合作，对这位六岁小天使说了很多道理，哈哈！当然这个道理无非就是妈咪要做工赚钱，给我们读书买东西等等。。。这些道理都是老师们所灌输的）这位六岁的小天使，很自然而然高高兴兴，也没闹情绪的来上学了。过后，这位妈妈通过电话跟我道谢。白老师告诉他，其实真正的功劳是这位妈妈(一方面要应付孩子的无理起闹，一方面时常跟白老师沟通)因为她听从白老师的话，把最艰难的难关做好。在配合学校老师们之下，就把小天使给拉回轨道上了。所以白老师常常说，教育孩子就是彼此要配合，不是单方面的事。家长就是左手，学校就是右手，孩子就是掌声。两只手一起拍，才能会有响亮的掌声。就是这么简单。只要家长们能渡过那一艰难的难关，从家里带出来和下车那一霎那。。。。。
今天，又接到一个五岁小天使的挑战任务了，又是别的家长介绍来的。也是因为之前的学校老师施以打骂和处罚之下，不去上学情愿呆在家里无所事事。而对这个小瓜来说，在家她可以为所欲为，爱怎样就怎样，有大把时间看电视和走动。在校嘛。。。。就没那么自由了。谁说小瓜们不聪明？？不要说是六岁小瓜，其实从三岁开始他们已经懂得分辨哪是享受，哪是苦。别以为他们还会像以前的我们那样，父母亲说什么，我们就头直直的跟着走。。。。。也不敢开口要求，更别说反抗呐！

Little Chef

Although they are small but they can do the simple kitchen jobs. This activity often carry out on Saturday morning sessions ( Daycare ) . ours QQ little chef are preparing the sandwiches for themselves. ( don’t worry ! is clean and healthy and save to eat ) Sometime we do have some cooking lessons likes making of “ MUA CI “ , “ cookies “ , “ popiah “ ………..most of the daycare parents are excited when they are received kids “ kitchen works “. They are happy to see and enjoyed “ kitchen works “ make by their kids. Children are learning from surrounding world. QQ syllabus are emphasize Learning is fun and easy.

Swimming activity

Swimming is one of ours day care activity. These activities will carry out every Friday except raining day. Best way to help to develop child physical development on Gross and Fine motor skill. Most of the children are loves to participate on these water play activities, children face expressions is prove they are enjoyed.
